Año clave y decisivo para el BM. El género se dispara en esa fecha creando una amplia escena musical (y mas cosas extramusicales en las que no voy a entrar) denominada "Inner Circle" en toda Noruega.

En 1992 el tio Abbath de Immortal saca su album debut "Diabolical Fullmoon Mysticism" con su no menos famosa cancion "The Call of the Wintermoon" y su video "friki".



Tambien saca su primer album Burzum (grupo de Varg Vikernes), con su grandisima cancion "war".



Los suecos Marduk editan su primer LP "Dark Endless".



Darkthrone saca su primer LP con autentico sonido de Black Metal, "A Blaze in the Northern Sky"



Beherit edita su (EP) "Werewolf, Semen And Blood".



Impaled Nazarene "Tol Cormpt Norz Norz Norz"

Primer LP de los finlandeses Beherit "The Oath Of Black Blood"



Primer LP oficial de Darkthrone "Soulside Journey", aunque este es un disco mas bien de Death metal.

Aunque este blog solo tiene interés por destacar aspectos musicales, sin embargo mencionar que en este año se produjo el suicidio de "Dead" (vocalista de Mayhem). Por sus letras relacionadas con la muerte y su estilo vocal, fue una persona muy influyente y decisiva en la evolucion del BM (R.I.P.).

Old Funeral sacan su EP "Devoured Carcass" (con la intervencion de Abbath, Demonaz, Vikernes y Jorn), aunque musicalmente se encuadra más en el Death metal.

Dissection edita su primer EP "Into Infinite Obscurity".

Blasphemy LP "Fallen Angel Of Doom". La intro "Winds of the Black Gods" está incluida en "The best of old school black metal" de Fenriz.
